Anti Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam

13th September 1999

Bribe and Mirza Ghulam

The Islamic stand on bribery is very clear. The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) cursed the one who bribes and the one who takes. (Hadith Sunan Abu Dawood).

On one of the discussion groups one of the Qadiani activist from Germany, Chaudhary Shiraz recently commented about the rampant BRIBE in Pakistan and the insensitivity of Mullahs about it. What he was implying that they should be condemning such things rather than wasting their time about exposing the fraud of Mirza Ghulam and Ahmadiyya Movement.

I have no doubt that bribery is rampant in Pakistan, but why single out Pakistan. It is a universal phenomenon. But perhaps Chaudhary Saheb has forgotten that those who live in glass house should not throw stones at others. Do followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani know what their founder has to say about the Bribe? I am sure they do not.

This is what he said:

"Hazrat Maulana Nooruddin Saheb mentioned that 'Huzoor! One question most people ask that sometimes they encounter situations when unless they pay something to the officials, their task is not done and they are destroyed.' (Huzoor) said: "To me BRIBE is defined as to dissolve someone's rights or to illegally suppress ` or take away the rights of the government SOMETHING IS GIVEN according to his demand. If the situation is such that there is no loss for anyone and neither is it someone else's right, only given to protect your own right  and this is not BRIBE. Rather it is analogous to as if we are going on the road and some dog comes from the front and we give him a piece of bread and go our way so that we remain safe from his mischief." (Roohani Khazain 2, Malfoozat vol.3 p.317)

"BRIBE should never be given. It is a big sin. BUT I DEFINE BRIBE as that through the rights of Government or others are destroyed. I absolutely forbids it but if given in a manner in which there is no intention of violation the rights of others, but only to prevent the violation of your own right and safeguard from the mischief, then in my opinion this is not prohibited. I do not call it BRIBE."  (Roohani Khazain 2, Malfoozat vol.3 p.320)

"Bribe and gift should be differentiated. Bribe is that which is given or taken to violate the right of others. Otherwise if someone does one of my work dutifully and no one's right is violated, then whatever is given to him is the fee for his effort."  (Roohani Khazain 2, Malfoozat vol.5 p.223)

Dear Qadianis/Ahmadis! Do you really think that such a man can be a decent human being let alone a Prophet or a Messiah or Mahdi?

Wassalam to those who follow the hidayah
